Terms of Hire
I require a £25 booking fee to hold your date this must be paid within 7 days of receiving the invoice.
This is non-refundable and required to book the cart for your event.
This fee may only be transferred to another date upon agreement between myself and you,
but I'm not obliged to do so. Two weeks prior to the hire date,
i also require payment of final fee's, a £50 damage deposit cheque,
which will only be cashed upon damage or destruction of equipment/glassware hired.
This is returned to you within 1 week of the event.
The customer agrees to allow photographs taken by the staff of Sweet Dreams Candy Cart
to be used for promotional purposes.
For Cart hire only (DIY packages) please do not stick drawing pins or types of tape on cart
please use blu or white tack only.
The Cart will be put together and taken apart by Sweet Dreams Staff only
Delivery and pick up to venues within a 20 mile radius of Eastbourne (BN23) are included in the cost of hire,
outside of this incurs a charge of 45p per mile for petrol and additional traveling time.
All breakages and loss must be paid for by the hirer not the venue.
Cancellation charges will apply-
Within 4 weeks of the event - 50% of total cost.
Within 2 weeks of the event – 100% of the total cost.
In the event of cancellation, any breakage deposit paid will be fully refunded.
In the unlikely event that the booking is cancelled by ‘Sweet Dreams Candy Cart’
any payment received will be fully refunded. We accept cash, cheque, postal order and bank transfer.
For Popcorn and candy floss both these machines are PAT tested and
must only be operated by a member of staff of Sweet Dreams Candy Cart.
These machines both get hot so under no circumstances must small children be allowed to touch them.
Nut Allergies & Safety Warnings
Please note that some of the sweets may contain or have traces of nuts or nut oils,
or may have been made alongside other products containing nuts. Sweet Dreams Candy Cart
cannot be held responsible for any issues resulting from food allergies.
Customers should also ensure that children are suitably supervised to avoid sweeties being chosen
which would pose a choking risk.
This is even more important for children under 5yrs.
Sweet Dreams Candy Cart is fully insured, Level 2 Food Safety in Catering and holds a CRB check certificate.
